I caught the expression of a stray cat sitting on a bench outside a restaurant, who seemed to be peeping at the patrons in a restaurant, and drew it down in my sketchbook. The more I looked at it, the more it looked like tiger, and the more I drew it like a tiger. A Chinese proverb goes, “When a tiger is quite, it may be mistaken for a sick cat.” Are we a cat or a tiger? Actually, it all depends on one’s moods.
